About

Jen Flynn is a contemporary Australian artist whose work strikingly crosses abstraction, expressionistic landscapes, and intuitive portraits. Jen has turned her childhood love of art into an adult joy. Her former work as a child and family therapist, trained in art therapy, connects her to the interplay of spiritual and emotional energy expressed through dynamic colour and texture.
Her work ranges from fierce Australian landscapes, to organic still life, to dreamy abstractions, all created to convey meaning and minister to the eye and soul.
Jen uses acrylics, mixed media, and watercolours to present intuitive interpretations of the awe of the created world, and its conflicts and mysteries. Whether using vivid, dynamic colour, or softer neutrals, Jen incorporates sensitive colour harmony and composition into all her work. For her, art is a solace and medium of inspiration which she loves to share with others.
